Sue Ryan is an Australian contemporary artist based in Far North Queensland, Australia.
We have worked together for many, many years, a relationship which began in the community arts world in Queensland in the 80’s and which continues today as a professional brand and marketing resource which keeps Sue’s craft and passion at top of mind for her many channels, including; galleries, arts workshops, mentorships and collaborations as well as her primary focus of sculptural works for exhibitions and commissions.
As her professional requirements evolve, we work collaboratively to create or re-focus her website and marketing strategies and collateral.
She works in a diverse range of media with a focus on utilising reclaimed ghost nets. During her role as Art Director for GhostNets Australia she established the environmental Ghost Net Art movement, collaborating with indigenous communities and contemporary artists in up-cycling nets into works of art.
Sue’s artworks can be found in private and public collections worldwide.
